The Bea Better Eating app is completely free to use. There are currently no subscription fees or hidden charges. You can access all the features and resources without any cost. We believe in providing accessible mindfulness support to as many people as possible, making it easy for you to embark on your mindful eating journey without any financial barriers. If you signed up using your email and password, reset the password on the mobile app and follow these steps:
Still having trouble updating your password? You may have registered using 3rd party login credentials such as Facebook, Apple Sign In, or Google.
If you encounter any difficulties during the password reset process, please feel free to reach out to Bea’s tech support for assistance.
You’ll need to sign into your account on Bea’s mobile app.
Tap the Bea logo in theupper right corner and tap on your email under “Manage Profile.” You will then need to select the option, DELETE ACCOUNT.
Please note that deleting your account will also delete all associated data.
Using Bea is easy! Just type and she will automatically respond. If she stops responding, you may have a poor internet connection and will need to wait to continue chatting until you are at a place with a better connection.
In order to get to the activities, tap on the icon with the small four circles on the lower left side of the screen. There, you will find a screen that will let you select which activity you would like to complete.
Bea helps with your eating habits by systematically challenging your mindset to think differently about food. She does this through three research-based activities that help you to identify hunger, acknowledge triggers, and understand how your body feels in response to the food you eat.
Bea does not support any specific restrictions, but will help you identify what types of foods and eating habits will work best for you.
The more the better! Chatting with Bea regularly will continue to change your mindset so that your mentality around food will change more rapidly. We recommend chatting with her and completing all three activities at least once per day.
Those with eating disorders or conditions may benefit from chatting with Bea in that learning mindful eating can benefit anyone, but it is not meant as a treatment for any mental or medical disorder and is not a replacement for therapy or medical help.
Bea’s goal is to help you with your mindset around food and not to focus on your weight. If your relationship with food is leading to unhealthy weight gain, however, it is reasonable to expect that healing your relationship will lead to a more balanced and healthy weight.
The most common reason that Bea is responding slowly is due to poor internet connection or cellular connection. She may also be slow when we are updating her software. Please be patient and try again when you have a good connection. If there is still a problem, the software may be updating and you should try again in an hour.
The Bea Better Eating app is currently available on Apple (iPhone) and will be available on the Google Play Store in the near future.
