How much is subscription?

The Bea Better Eating app is completely free to use. There are currently no subscription fees or hidden charges. You can access all the features and resources without any cost. We believe in providing accessible mindfulness support to as many people as possible, making it easy for you to embark on your mindful eating journey without any financial barriers. Start your mindfulness practice today, at no expense.

How can I reset the password on my account?

If you signed up using your email and password, reset the password on the mobile app and follow these steps:

  1. On Bea’s sign in screen, locate and tap on the "Forgot Password" below the sign in fields.
  1. You will be prompted to enter the email address associated with your account.
  1. Check your email inbox for a password reset link or instructions. It may take a few minutes for the email to arrive, so please be patient. If you don't receive the email, ensure it hasn't landed in your spam or junk folder.
  1. Once you receive the password reset email, follow the instructions provided. This typically involves clicking on the password reset link within the email or following the specified steps to reset your password.

Still having trouble updating your password? You may have registered using 3rd party login credentials such as Facebook, Apple Sign In, or Google.

If you encounter any difficulties during the password reset process, please feel free to reach out to Bea’s tech support for assistance.

How do I delete my account?

You’ll need to sign into your account on Bea’s mobile app.

Tap the Bea logo in theupper right corner and tap on your email under “Manage Profile.” You will then need to select the option, DELETE ACCOUNT.

Please note that deleting your account will also delete all associated data.


How do I interact with Bea?

Using Bea is easy! Just type and she will automatically respond. If she stops responding, you may have a poor internet connection and will need to wait to continue chatting until you are at a place with a better connection.

How do I complete the three guided activities?

In order to get to the activities, tap on the icon with the small four circles on the lower left side of the screen. There, you will find a screen that will let you select which activity you would like to complete.

How does Bea help improve my eating habits?

Bea helps with your eating habits by systematically challenging your mindset to think differently about food. She does this through three research-based activities that help you to identify hunger, acknowledge triggers, and understand how your body feels in response to the food you eat.

Are there specific dietary restrictions or preferences supported by Bea?

Bea does not support any specific restrictions, but will help you identify what types of foods and eating habits will work best for you.

How often should I chat with Bea to see the results?

The more the better! Chatting with Bea regularly will continue to change your mindset so that your mentality around food will change more rapidly. We recommend chatting with her and completing all three activities at least once per day.

Is Bea Better Eating suitable for individuals with eating disorders or specific medical conditions?

Those with eating disorders or conditions may benefit from chatting with Bea in that learning mindful eating can benefit anyone, but it is not meant as a treatment for any mental or medical disorder and is not a replacement for therapy or medical help.

Will Bea help me lose weight?

Bea’s goal is to help you with your mindset around food and not to focus on your weight. If your relationship with food is leading to unhealthy weight gain, however, it is reasonable to expect that healing your relationship will lead to a more balanced and healthy weight.


Why is Bea slow or not responding?

The most common reason that Bea is responding slowly is due to poor internet connection or cellular connection. She may also be slow when we are updating her software. Please be patient and try again when you have a good connection. If there is still a problem, the software may be updating and you should try again in an hour.

How can I download the app?

The Bea Better Eating app is currently available on Apple (iPhone) and will be available on the Google Play Store in the near future.

How do I reinstall my app?

iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)

  1. Uninstall the app by holding down on the Headspace app until a menu appears. If you are on iOS 13, you will need to select 'Rearrange Apps' first
  2. Click 'Remove App' to delete 
  3. Turn your device off and then back on. This step is very important.
  4. Download the app again by visiting the App Store and searching for "Bea Better Eating"
  5. Press the cloud icon or "Install" to re-download
  6. Log back in with your existing account information

What are the device requirements?

The Bea Better Eating app is designed to provide optimal performance on the following devices:

- Apple Devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) running iOS 14 or above.

To ensure the best experience, we recommend updating your device's operating system to the latest available version. This will help ensure compatibility and access to the latest features and improvements.

How do I log out of the mobile app?

  1. Tap the profile icon in the upper right corner
  2. Tap the “Log Out” button at the bottom


When will Bea Better Eating be available for Android?

We are working diligently to release Bea to Android. Please stay tuned for news related to our Android release.

Can I use Bea instead of doing mental health therapy?

Bea is not therapy or a therapist. While Bea was trained by therapists, she is a mindful eating coach and does not treat or diagnose mental health or physical conditions.
